About April

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to understanding people — their emotions, relationships, and the unique challenges they face. My decision to pursue psychotherapy comes from a deep passion for supporting others and a genuine belief in the power of healing and connection. I care deeply about creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and truly heard, and where we can work together to uncover new ways of moving forward.

I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I work with individuals, couples, and families on concerns such as anxiety, communication challenges, attachment patterns, and unhelpful thought cycles. My approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to support clients in exploring emotions, reshaping thought patterns, and strengthening connections.

At the heart of my work is a genuine care for each client’s story. Whether you are seeking greater self-understanding, working to strengthen your relationship, or navigating family dynamics, I bring warmth, curiosity, and commitment to every session. My goal is to walk alongside you, helping you build resilience, deepen connection, and create meaningful change that feels authentic and lasting.
